Get SIP Number
|
Get SIP ID number : You can get SIP ID numbre here.
After you got number. You have to configure soft or hardware device.

SIP Config 1

(For example, HandyTone 286 Grand Stream)
You need to know IP address of SIP phone device. Push panel "***" and then push "02", after you connect adapter and telephone set.
If you can not get a IP address of SIP device above link is Grandstream site, please refer there.
You can type "http://Your-SIPphone-IP-address-number". After go in configuration page, you can see this screen.
Default password is : admin

Change or fill blank boxes
SIP User ID, Authenticate ID, Authenticate Password, NTP Server (ntp01.SIPphone.com), local SIP port, local RTP port
This is sample of configuration page
Be careful, using static IP address
SIP Server : proxy01.sipphone.com
SIP User ID : Your SIP ID is what you get from SIPphone site
Authenticate ID : same as SIP User ID
Authenticate Password : Your SIP ID is what you get from SIPphone site
Dial Plan Prefix : 051 (If you wanna use only free call)
local SIP port : 5060
local RTP port : 5004

Port Forward
|
Some SIP Phone device has function ofport forwrad itself.
However, HT 286 does not have this function so that you need configure router.
If your SIP device has this function, please skip this section.
You need to know IP address of router. Open comand prompt.
Go to "Start"-"All program"-"Accessaries"-"Comand Prompt" sample screen
Type "ipconfig" and write douwn Default Gateway.
Type "http://default-gateway-IP-address" in address bar of the internet explore.
( If you need password and username to go in router setting, please refer router user guide.)
You have to port foward 5060 and 5004 of UDP to your SIP device. sample screen
